How do I navigate Gurdjieff.es?

 

The Gurdjieff.es website is open to everyone, but certain areas are restricted to members only.
 
Joining is easy, just go to the Registration section and start the procedure. In a matter of seconds you will receive an e-mail with a registration link, which you need to click in order to complete the process.  
Registration with Gurdjieff.es does not mean that you will receive information from us, but simply that you will have free access to all restricted areas (e.g., the study articles) and you will be able to order our publications.

You cannot purchase any publications without registering first.

If you want to be kept up to date with our activities and all the news from our portal (read here to find out all about them), you will need to  subscribe to our Newsletter .
Site registration and subscription to the Newsletter are two separate and independent processes, so both will need to be activated.

Gurdjieff.es navigation tools

There are basically 9 navigation tools for our portal:

  • Home: brings you back to the homepage
  • Subject Index (service under construction): allows you to search for specific topics and find out which of our publications cover them.
  • Advanced Search: enter a key word and find out where in our portal that word is mentioned.
  • Links: here you can add a link to your own website, comment on other links, or advertise an event.
  • Help and FAQs: view the help page and the answers to frequently asked questions or you can consult our online videos-tutorial.
  • Newsletter (Right-hand panel): here you can subscribe to our Newsletter.
  • Virtual Bookshop: The Gurdjieff.es "shop", where you can buy our books, publications, CDs and DVDs.

    • Tools for Gurdjieff.es registered members:

  • Account management: view your purchases, change your invoicing details, change the shipping address and consult a detailed history of past orders.
  • Show Cart: view the products already in your cart whilst exploring other pages.

Welcome to Gurdjieff.es, the portal on the teachings of the Fourth Way and website of the LA TECA Institute for Harmonious Development.


Our pages are intended to be a virtual meeting place for people with an interest in spirituality and personal development. As well as presenting the activities of our institute, cybernauts can order our publications for home study and in-depth exploration of the central themes in the Fourth Way: what is the meaning of our existence? How can we begin a path of personal growth and development? What are the ingredients needed to awaken our conscience?


You can find all our publications, books and CDs in the Books and Multimedia section, to get your learning process started. On our site you will also find information on seminars and public meetings held by our institute (Home Page, Conferences section) or discover the artistic work of our students and teachers to date (La Teca artistic pages). You can also subscribe to our Newsletter to keep abreast of all our activities.


If you are not familiar with the Fourth Way system, and you would like to know more about our approach, we recommend that you take a look at the bibliography section. Most of the titles listed are easy to obtain from any good bookshop.


If you need further help, we have prepared some Online video guides  (under construction) for you to consult. They will accompany you around our website.
