Every school that gives "real" teaching has its own distinctive working tool.
Gurdjieff G. himself said that there are no "general" schools, that each "guru" or leader of a school works at his own specialty, one is a sculptor, another is a musician, a third is again something else…”

At "La Teca" institute for harmonious development, DRAMA is the main means for "the work on ourselves”.
All shows produced by the institute are the fruit of the work of its pupils.
On the surface, the shows may seem like normal plays. In actual fact, for the actor they represent the use of certain tools that are helpful in self-remembering.
Each character portrayed is linked to a specific type of work on the body, and a specific group of the actor's I's.
Is the presence of an audience necessary?
Why interpret stories and characters in front of other people? ?
The presence of the audience is essential, and makes the previously undertaken preparation work effective.
For the actor, within the dynamics of the drama, the audience is a "third point" that he/she keeps constantly in mind.
Life, too, is a theatre, we are just too deeply identified with the characters to realise it. Learning to play one's role in everyday life is only possible when the actor stops being in his character, disidentifies with him and remembers that life itself is a theatre.

This is the ultimate objective that drama can help us achieve.
